Richard
D. West, M.D., F.A.C.S., received his Doctorate of Medicine
degree from the School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
After service in the U. S. Navy as a General Medical Officer,
he completed a general surgery residency at the Presbyterian
University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia. He
is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a
Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has practiced
surgery in Virginia Beach since 1972.
